STASIS
Visual Identity
7th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art
Concept: Segments of a shape (circle) referring to a point, point on a map, thesis / stasis / orientation. Segments as extracts, as parts of an integrated image, a shape, a perfect circle. As we approach, the circle becomes the ever-disappearing object of vision, of observation, of complete understanding. As we move away, the circle segments compose, mentally, the general picture, enabling awareness of the integrated shape.
The blue colour is a reference to planet Earth, one of it's many names is "blue planet", but also to the atmosphere's ability to colour as blue, objects in the aerial perspective.
